LAX rocks Guangzhou music festival

CHINA: LAX provided the sound system installation for the recent Guangzhou music festival. Various LAX products were deployed for the two-day event, which saw artists such as MC Jin, Fama and Wong Ka Keung perform to over 10,000 fans.
LAX was one of the main festival organisers, and used a total of 48 channels to dispatch the signals to the PA and the monitor system, and deployed 24 OP4925L four-way speakers and 24 OPL218B subwoofers for the main stage. An additional 12 OP3228L line array speakers were positioned on both sides of the stage in order to effectively cover the 40,000 sq-m area.
‘The sound was clear and clean, and the public enjoyed the quality of the performances wherever they were during the festival,’ said Liang Guangkun, the event’s manager and engineer.
‘LAX supports Guangzhou’s cultural activities and local artists,’ Mr Guangkun continued. ‘Our engineering team was determined to guarantee the best performance for this festival, and even though they had to cope with a violent storm during the installation, LAX still managed to ensure a successful venture. LAX rocked Guangzhou!’
