Leading New Delhi rental company acquires Nexo 45 N-12 line monitors

INDIA: New Delhi-based rental company Audio Design has purchased 12 Nexo 45° N-12 line monitors alongside four NXAMP 4x4C powered digital controllers. The sale was made through Nexo distributor Sun Infonet.

Described as one of the largest and most influential rental companies in India, Audio Design was founded in 1985 by Navneet Wadhwa. The company regularly services concerts by leading Indian performers alongside touring international artists. According to Sun Infonet, the purchase of the 45° N-12 line monitors for all-purpose stage monitoring is a ‘key endorsement’ within the Indian market.

‘We were looking for a new monitoring option,’ explained Navneet Wadhwa. ‘The Nexo N-12s were recommended to us, and, having found the sound quality to be exceptional, we put them straight on stage in front of performers. No type of performer in particular; the whole point is that we can use these monitors every day with every kind of music, and they always get a positive reaction from the musicians.

‘Generally we tend to run them as two coupled pairs for vocalists, giving us four mixes if required. Judging by the responses from artists and engineers, I’d say the N-12s have quickly become the best monitors in our inventory.’
