Lighting set designer LeRoy Bennett to headline Entech education programme

AUSTRALIA: The lineup of speakers at this year’s Entech Connect Education Programme has been announced, seeing topics headlined by lighting guru LeRoy Bennett. Mr Bennett will be discussing his personal philosophy of design during the session. The education programme is an expanded series of seminars and lunches covering topics for pro audio, A/V, integration, lighting and staging professionals.
‘The combination of musical and architectural emotion is the driving force behind my work,’ Mr Bennett stated. ‘I always enjoy sharing my love for design with people who embrace the creative process, and I am very excited about speaking at Entech Connect and meeting people in the Australian creative community’
An award winning lighting set designer, Bennett has worked with leading artists including Beyoncé, Nine Inch Nails, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Rammstein, and Rihanna. Mr Bennett will be discussing his personal philosophy of design during the session, walking the audience through his creative process from the muse, embryonic stages of discovery, throughout his processes to completion of design.

The session will be held from 10:30am – 12:00pm on Wednesday 23 July 2014 at the Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton Melbourne. Tickets for the session are on sale now via the event website, and it is recommended that seats be booked in advance to secure attendance.
