Liu Huan to bring in the New Year with Harman

CHINA: Harman Professional has been announced as the official audio provider for singer Liu Huan’s Listening to Our Days concert at the MasterCard Center in Beijing on January 1st 2013. The Harman inventory will comprise sound equipment from JBL Professional and Crown Audio.
‘I really appreciate that Harman will sponsor the concert with its top quality PA system,’ said Mr Huan. ‘I feel very honored to have JBL in my concert. The first time I went into a recording studio was about 30 years ago, and I didn’t know about the equipment, but I could see a huge speaker built into the wall – and that was JBL.’
‘We look forward to being the official professional audio provider for Liu Huan’s New Year concert,’ said Timothy J Smith, general manager of Harman Professional China. ‘One of the key things we do is to support artists like Liu Huan by providing the technical tools necessary to share his art with thousands of people at one time.
‘Harman has been doing this for almost 65 years, and it is always a great joy for me to hear artists talk about their experiences with our products,’ continued Mr Smith. ‘That’s why we are very happy to call Liu Huan a good friend of the Harman brand.’
