Loud Technologies focuses on India with new distribution partners

INDIA: At a recent reception in Mumbai, Loud Technologies Inc executives met to discuss plans to maximise the presence of its EAW and Mackie brands throughout India. Key to the success of this strategy are new distribution partners Vardhaman and E&E Systems India Pvt Ltd, which has been working with the brand for the past year.

Bangalore-based E&E handles the exclusive country-wide distribution for the Mackie brand, whilst Mumbai-based Vardhaman has taken on the distribution of EAW. The two companies join Ampeg distributor Musik City to complete Loud’s sales force in the Indian market.

‘The Indian market is every bit as dynamic as the country’s rich musical culture and requires both innovative products and world-class service,’ explained Mark Graham, Loud’s CEO. ‘We are honoured to add E&E and Vardhaman to our Indian market team and know they will invest significant time and effort in sales, service, spares and support. Over the coming months Loud will add additional in-market resources, including a country manager and a technical and service lead.’

Attending the event were Loud Technologies’ CEO Mark Graham, managing director, APAC, Davwinder Sheena and SVP of marketing development Adrian Bell. EAW was represented in the form of company president and general manager Jeff Rocha, whilst Mackie and Ampeg president and general manager Alex Nelson was also in attendance. E&E’s executive director S Gopinathan (Poncho) and sales director Dhruv Datta were also present, as was Vardhaman’s CEO Dinesh Mandot and sales director Krishna Hegde.

Loud Technologies will partner with Vardhaman, E&E and Musik City to exhibit the EAW, Mackie and Ampeg brands at the Palm Mumbai show from May 31st to June 2nd.
