Mahajak Group and Harman Pro launch JBL VTX V25 series in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Mahajak SKM Electronics Pte Ltd (MSE) and Harman Professional recently co-hosted an event named ‘Hear The Truth Live!’ in order mark the official launch of the JBL VTX V25 series at the Mahajak SKM premises in Singapore.
The full-day event was divided into two sessions, and was attended by numerous Mahajak Elite Club members ranging from consultants, equipment specifiers, installers, rental house owners and sound engineers from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
Leading the first session was Stuart Dingwall, applications manager for Harman, who was assisted by MSE product specialists with the set-up. Mr Dingwall introduced the VTX series and described in detail the benefits and improvements taken on by JBL in regards to the design of the product. This section of the event was a closed-door hardware training session for key staff of appointed Harman Professional contractors and owners of JBL VerTec systems.
Meanwhile, the afternoon session was open to all members from the local audio community and began with a high SPL demonstration of the VTX line array system (with low end provided by a number of G28 cardioid-arrayable subwoofers) in the building's open car park.
‘Due to space constraints, we had to turn down not a few, but many requests to attend the product launch,’ commented Dave Loh, general manager of MSE. ‘Although MSE is only the distributor for the Harman Professional brands in Singapore, this event proves that we are working as a group to support the pro audio markets in the region.’
