Malaysias INSPEN takes FBT Modus line array

MALAYSIA: Two FBT Modus line arrays have been installed into Malaysia’s National Institute of Valuation’s (INSPEN) newly developed Campus 2, in Sepang, Selangor. INSPEN is the training and research arm of the Valuation and Property Services Department under Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance.
INSPEN is tasked with advising the government on all matters relating to the value of real estate, the impact of property development and management policies, and enhancing the knowledge and expertise of the human resources in the real estate industry.
It’s new Campus 2 measures approximately 48 acres and is located in the vicinity of Putrajaya, the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The complex comprises a central North-South axis which connects the northern buildings (including female hostels, a student union, a kindergarten, a central park and a prayer hall) and the southern buildings (with male hostels and accommodation for professional undergoing training at the facility). At the centre of the development are the open plaza and the main campus, which connect the administration building and the classrooms on eastern side to the indoor sports stadium and staff hostels to the west of the campus.
The Modus passive line array systems have been installed in the indoor sports stadium, with the arrays located at each side of the FOH in the indoor sports stadium. The design comprises two pairs of Modus 40 1,600W, 138dB SPL vertical arrays, two pairs of Modus 15 vertical arrays, and two pairs of Modus Subs, delivering 1,800W and 141dB SPL. The system was supplied by Meditec Trader Pte Ltd.
