Martin Audio provides sound for 16th Busan International film festival

SOUTH KOREA: A Martin Audio sound system was chosen to provide the sound reinforcement for the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The sold-out festival reportedly attracted approximately 5,000 people on its opening day.
The nine-day festival’s outside theatre was equipped with a W8LMI compact line array system for the main section, an S218 dual-driver vented sub-bass system, an F15 wide-bandwidth system, and a Blackline H3+ three-way system. An LE1500 stage monitor was also installed on the main stage.
A BIFF spokesperson described the festival as ‘fantastic,’ adding that ‘the outstanding sound and media system helped to entertain the audience of academics, various organisations and film critics, and made the festival really special’.
‘It was awesome experience,’ enthused an audience member. ‘The sound of the movie really completed the whole experience for me.'
