Matthew Davies joins Production Audio Services

AUSTRALIA: Distribution company Production Audio Services has announced the appointment of Matthew Davies to the role of technical sales broadcast specialist. Mr Davies described his new position is ‘a big and exciting move’ for him.
In his new role, Mr Davies will specialise in broadcast sales and will provide ongoing technical support, as well as maintaining and expanding upon the company’s current client and dealer network.
Mr Davies has accumulated over 15 years of experience throughout his career so far, and can count working within the broadcast engineering and operations sectors for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) amongst his list of previous positions. His most recent position was working for Network Ten, and his experience in television and radio covers outside broadcast, studio recordings, master control rooms, operations and signal transmission.
‘We look forward to having Matt on board and we are excited to see his progress whilst he continues to expand an already thriving, yet challenging department,’ said Production Audio Services’ Graeme Stevenson.
‘I’ve been working for broadcasters throughout my career, from small regional news operations to huge global events like the Olympic games,’ said Mr Davies. ‘I know that getting anything on-air is stressful enough without having to worry about the technology.
