INDONESIA: A four-star hotel in Padang, West Sumatra has been installed with Electro-Voice products, distributed by PT Y2C International. The hotel, which is still under construction, will be operated by Accor group under the Mecure brand.
The client approached Electro-Voice distributor PT Y2C International and specified a sound system that would ‘match the prestige’ of the hotel.
For the hotel’s ballroom, the front of house comprises two ZXA5 active speakers, with an Electro-Voice DVX3150 low frequency transducer. The speakers are accompanied by two TX2181 subwoofers, which are powered by a Q1212 two-channel amplifier. A DC One digital signal processor handles equalisation.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s gymnasium now features two ZxA1 amplified loudspeaker systems, powered by an integrated 800W, two-channel amplifier module. The amplifier has XLR microphone and line level inputs, as well as a XLR line level output for daisy chaining several amplified speakers or a subwoofer.
PT Y2C International reports that it is ‘looking forward to assist with the second phase of the hotel’s sound system provision’.
