MI Corp distributes API’s 1608 in Korea

KOREA: Having been appointed as Korean distributor for API (Automated Processes, Inc) earlier this year, MI Corp has now been confirmed as the official distributor for the brand’s 1608 console in the country. The 1608, that began shipping just a few weeks ago, has its own demo room at the MI Corp headquarters.

‘MI Corp is designing prominent recording studios and meeting the most difficult demands of sound engineers,’ said Sunny Park, manager of the import department. ‘Many engineers in Korea would like to own and operate an API 1608 console.’

‘In the current digital audio equipment market, customers missed analogue music equipment,’ said sales director and former recording engineer, Ted Suh. ‘We think API is the leading company, not only for consoles, but analogue modules.’

Situated in the Gangnam-Gu area of Seoul, MI Corp originated as a musical instrument distributor in 1997. As of 2009, it began to expand its services, aiming to become a leader in the multi-media industry. Expanding to professional audio and video as well as the architecture and design of studios, the company has been known as MI Corp ever since.
