MicW presented with Cool Stuff award

CHINA: MicW Audio, the recording microphone subsidiary of Beijing-based BSWA Technology Ltd, was recently presented with a ‘Cool Stuff’ award for its i-Series of professional microphones at the NAB 2012 exhibition in Las Vegas.
Out of the 17 shortlisted products, MicW’s i-Series was selected as the winner due to the range’s ‘innovative design for improving audio quality for the iPhone and iPad as mobile journalism tools’. Selected by a panel of engineering judges, journalists and editors, MicW was presented the award by Radio World Newspaper’s Paul J McLane.
‘We are extremely pleased to have won this award,’ enthused MicW CEO, Dr Qunli Wu. ‘The award affirms MicW’s achievements on microphone designs and manufacturing for mobile journalists and musical recordings. With increasing numbers using smart phones in the broadcasting industry, more and more journalists will use these phones with our microphones for their daily work.’
