Mipro establishes German subsidiary

WORLD: Due to recent expansion in the region, Mipro has established Mipro Germany GmbH in Hardthausen, Germany and hired a pro audio veteran, Hartmut Reichert, as its managing director.

‘This is another exciting step for Mipro in the region and we are very pleased to welcome Harmut to the Mipro team. We have known and worked with him in the past and admired his hands-on business acumen for a long time. He brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge in the wireless microphone and wireless PA business,’ KC Chang, CEO of Mipro commented. ‘Under his leadership we are confident we will raise product profiles and presence with pro A/V system integrators, installation and rental companies, sound engineers, and consultants.’

‘I am certain I will be able to use the good relationships I have created with distributors, dealers and system integrators to Mipro’s advantage,’ said Mr Reichert. ‘I have followed the company’s development in the market for many years and have been enormously impressed by how they have developed from being a well-known manufacturer of wireless microphones, to becoming one of the most innovative and expanding systems companies in the industry. I am delighted to be joining them.’

With this change, the company will part ways with distributor Beyerdynamic. ‘Naturally the decision to change distribution after 12 years of trusted and fruitful partnership is difficult,’ said Eugene Chen, international sales director at Mirpro. ‘We’d like to sincerely thank Beyerdynamic and its staff for their dedication and commitment to growing the Mipro brand.  We felt we needed to be closer to our customers and with a direct presence in Germany we are well positioned for the future and in particular our services reflect what our customers want and need.’
