Mipro names GNS 2011 Asian Distributor of the Year

KOREA: GNS, the South Korean distributor of Mipro, has been named as the Taiwanese manufacturer’s 2011 Asian Distributor of the Year. Mipro’s international sales director Eugene Chen described the distributor as ‘a rapidly growing company with a team of passionate and seasoned audio professionals who understand the needs of the PA market, especially wireless applications’.
GNS was founded in 2006 by a team of ‘ambitious and experienced audio professionals’, eventually becoming one of Korea’s leading audio importers and distributors under the leadership of its CEO, BW Kang. The company has represented Mipro within the country for six years. According to the manufacturer, the award is intended to reflect the ‘continued strong support and impressive double digits growth’ that the supplier has experienced in recent months. The award was announced during the recent Koba 2011 exhibition in Seoul, during which GNS exhibited Mipro Act-3 Series wireless systems for the first time in Korea.
