MMS lights the way for Hardwell

INDIA: Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell recently performed before a sold-out crowd of 15,000 at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium as part of his I Am Hardwell tour. Modern Stage Service (MSS) supplied the full the full technical solution for the gig, with its lighting designer Dinesh Verma, specifying PR Lighting fixtures. MSS represents the lighting manufacturer in the Indian subcontinent.

Mr Verma’s design made use of 20 XR 200 Beams on the main stage. An MA Lighting grandMA2 full size console provided control for the fixtures, with a second console deployed for redundancy.

‘We needed to choose a fixture that would provide the best beam possible,’ explained Sahil Wadhwa, director at Oneup Productions, the production company owned by MSS. ‘The PR XR 200 turned out to be the best option. We were already entirely familiar with the fixture as we have been using it for a long time. It more than delivered the required output.’
