Music Group installs Audio Precision analysers in Zhongshan

CHINA: The Music Group, owner of Behringer, Midas and Klark Teknik, has installed 44 APx515 audio analysers into its newly refurbished production facility in Zhongshan, China, with CEO Uli Behringer describing the APx515 as ‘the most cost-effective and powerful audio analyzer in its class’. The analysers were sold through AP Technology, the Audio Precision’s exclusive distributor.
While the testing facilities within the Zhongshan facility have been described by Audio Precision as ‘already quite comprehensive’, with a UL lab and Faraday cage, the new audio analysers have reportedly already cut down production-line test times by 30 per cent. Mr Behringer has been quick to praise the performance: ‘We believe testing does more than improve the quality of our products,’ he enthused, ‘it increases speed and reduces overhead, which ultimately translates to better value for our customers.’
Meanwhile, Audio Precision president Dave Schmoldt added that the APx515 ‘could have been custom designed for The Music Group. It is a perfect match and I’m very happy to see such a measureable return on investment.’
