Musiclink Australia takes exclusive Klotz MI distribution

AUSTRALIA: Musiclink Australia has been awarded the exclusive MI distribution for Klotz Cables throughout the country. The announcement sees the German cable company join a wide variety of leading brands from the MI and audio technology sectors.
Production Audio Services continue to act as exclusive distributor for the manufacturer’s professional audio, video and multimedia market in Australia, where it is responsible for all rental, installation, broadcast, building and event technology for the cable company.
‘The advantage of operating with two distributors who are strong professionals in their field is quite clear: the synergies will bring a much better coverage of the Australian market for Klotz Cables,’ commented Klotz Cable’s Bodo Falkenried.
Musiclink is described by Klotz as ‘Australia's foremost distributor of musical instruments, audio technology products, drum and percussion products, DJ equipment, and sound reinforcement products for over 40 years’. Headquartered in Melbourne, the company boasts sales teams in all of Australia’s capital cities plus a network of 400 retailers.
Other brands within the company’s portfolio include JTS, Line 6, Bose, SE Electronics and Mackie plus purely MI lines such as Pearl drums, Zildjian cymbals, Crate, Ampeg and Korg.
Musiclink’s first shipment of Klotz cables is expected to arrive in June for distribution to the company’s retail network
