NAMM teams with Auralex for studio acoustics lecture

WORLD: The recent summer NAMM exhibition in Nashville saw Auralex Acoustics founder and president Eric Smith deliver a standing room only lecture on studio acoustics. The lecture took place as part of the three day TEC Tracks programme of seminars, lectures and discussions (formerly known as the HOT Zone).

Other topics covered within the TEC Tracks schedule included live recording, near-field monitoring techniques, a discussion on women in audio and a panel on in-ear monitoring. Mr Smith’s hour-long lecture focused on the best deployment of varying acoustical treatments plus advice on overcoming common acoustic issues.

The TEC Tracks programme will return with a full line-up of pro audio related topics at the NAMM Show in January 2016.
