Naval Base Secondary School opts for K-array

SINGAPORE: The Naval Base Secondary School has selected a K-Array sound system after undertaking an auditioning process. Demos from a range of manufacturers were given to the facility before the K-array system was chosen. The setup had to provide clarity and performance grade quality to adequately replace the existing system and was installed by Loud Technologies Asia.
Linear column arrays included in the setup allow for long distance coverage while keeping the SPL linear with less difference in volume. In addition, the hang consists of a stereo image of a KP102 element that offers long throw coverage to avoid the rear reflective surfaces. A KP52 was also implanted for downfill while a KMT18P provides the low frequency extension. A single KA84 DSP amplifier powers the entire system.
