New DPA dealer AV United sells 100 units in a month

MALAYSIA: UniAudio Asia recently appointed AV United as an authorised DPA Microphones dealer for Malaysia, and reports that the company has sold 100 units of the microphones within its first month alone.
The decision to appoint AV United as DPA Microphones’ representative for Malaysia came from UniAudio’s managing director, Yusof Ahmad. ‘To have AV United as a DPA Microphones dealer is not an afterthought,’ stated Mr Ahmad. ‘I’ve known Mr Chin for many years now, and what’s admirable about him is that he has a love for this business. Couple that with his dedication and perseverance, and AV United will be a perfect partner for us to bring the game into a different level,’ he enthused.
‘AV United is not a new player in the professional microphones field,’ said Chin Foo Heng, AV United’s managing director. ‘Being a former Sennheiser representative, we possess extensive experience in satisfying the market’s needs and expectations.’
Amongst the 100 units of equipment purchased were DPA’s 4099, 2011C, 4088, 4090, and various miniature microphones, which were bought by rental houses and broadcast stations throughout Kuala Lumpur.
Following the appointment, UniAudio’s in-house product trainers immediately conducted intensive sessions with AV United, and shortly after that, UniAudio organised a DPA workshop, which was co-hosted by DPA Microphones’ Ken Kimura.
AV United has been supplying professional sound reinforcement equipment and solutions to various parts of Malaysia since founding in 1995.
