New marketing director for Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup

WORLD: Anja Korn has been named marketing director for German manufacturer Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup. The 35 year old industry newcomer will lead a departmental team comprising trade show manager Hermann Quetting, online specialist Kerstin Leppin, and Stefani Renner and Christoph Lieck, who will continue to oversee press relations.
Taking on a role described as having ‘a strong focus on marketing communications, branding and sales support’, Ms Korn holds a degree in marketing and formerly worked as a team leader for German marketing agency Marcapo, specialising in local branding and sales support. She has previously held positions with home entertainment technology brand Loewe and Vodafone.
Commenting on her new appointment, Ms Korn said: ‘The international orientation of the Mediagroup makes my new position so interesting. One of my main tasks will be to coordinate our global marketing activities and align them to create a single brand with a strong, distinctive appearance in all of the markets in which we operate.’
