Next-proaudio provides sound for Heineken NYE in Vietnam

VIETNAM: Pro AVL Group recently supplied a Next-proaudio LA212x line array system for use at the Heineken NYE 2014 celebration in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Heineken New Year countdown show attracted a crowd of 15,000 at Crescent Lake, District 7. The sound design comprised 16 elements of LA212X line arrays hung in two lines in a traditional configuration, in addition to 12 LAS218 subwoofers in a left/right/centre configuration.
‘The show was beyond our expectations due to an excellent sound system,’ enthused Lan Ho from Skyline, who coordinated the event.
‘We are very proud to be Next-proaudio's distributor, and we are particularly proud of this LA212X – it is the first LA212x complete system in Asia,’ said Tran Nhu Noi, technical director at Pro AVL Group. ‘At this show, the venue is terrible but the LA212X system is fantastic! We plan to support more big shows in Hanoi as well as some other main cities in Vietnam. Before this show I got a lot of support from the manufacturer, for instance with presets and with beam angle software.’
