North South University installed with Bosch conference system

BANGLADESH: Litme Enterprise recently installed a Bosch conference system into Bangladesh’s private North South University for its Syndicate Hall conference room.
The Syndicate Hall hosts daily meetings conducted by various committee members, staff and professors of the university’s various faculties, with most meetings attended by approximately 60 participants. Therefore the client specified that it required a ‘world-class wireless conference system that could not only cater to the demanding needs of meetings and discussions, but that could also seamlessly blend into its surroundings’.
Due to the large meeting room and the number of participants involved, the end-user also requested an efficient camera control system to display the host speaker on a large LCD screen.
Following a demonstration of a Bosch conference system, the board of trustees and committee members are reported to have been ‘fully convinced and highly impressed’, leading Litme Enterprise to install a total of 65 wireless delegate units and one wireless chairman unit into the premises – all of which are controlled with a wireless central control unit.
The wireless DCN conference solution with automatic camera control allows for automatic pan, tilt and zoom of Bosch PTZ cameras while filming the speaking delegate. Four AutoDome PTZ cameras were installed within the conference room to provide full coverage of the entire space, streaming video to the four mounted LCD monitors via a Bosch matrix switcher. Images are managed and controlled via a DVR recorder and an Intuikey keyboard.
The flexibility of expansion and the efficient after sales support from Bosch is reported to have pleased the end-user. ‘The university is now able to conduct meetings more effectively, and more inspiring discussions can be organised,’ said a Bosch representative.
