AUSTRALIA: Professional Audio Technology Pty Ltd (PAT) has been appointed as an authorised reseller for Orban TV processors in Australia. The deal, which is effective immediately, follows initial conversations at the recent IBC exhibition in Amsterdam.
Widely considered a leader in the field of TV audio processing, Orban is known for its Optimod-TV processor range, which includes solutions for both conventional and digital transmission as well as specialised applications. The manufacturer has recently begun a process of bolstering its international distribution, including the exclusive appointment of South Korea’s DongYang Digital in May 2013.
Peter Lee, vice president of European operations for Orban Europe GmbH, was enthusiastic regarding the appointment of PAT. ‘I am convinced that PAT will be increasing our sales in the Australian television market,’ he declared. ‘We have watched PAT’s performance in the Australian television market and are confident that their performance will help us strengthen our position in the TV market.’
Professional Audio Technology’s managing director Patrick Salloch equally welcomed the announcement: ‘To be appointed by Orban as an authorised reseller of their world-leading television audio processors is a great honour and my team and I are looking forward to providing our clients with Orban’s fantastic audio processors. I think PAT is nowadays recognised as the supplier for cutting edge world-class broadcast audio products in Australia and I am sure that Orban will very quickly see positive results from this new cooperation. We are looking forward to prosperous and long-term relationship.’
PAT is expecting to receive Orban demonstration equipment within the coming weeks.
