Outline provides increased versatility for Hard Rock Café Worli

INDIA: The Hard Rock Café in Mumbai’s upmarket Worli district has been outfitted with an Outline sound reinforcement system by local distributor White Eagle Entertainment. Following the decision to expand the venue's music scope with more electronic elements, HRC franchise owner JSM Corporation Pvt Ltd sought a newer and more versatile audio system and called in White Eagle Entertainment to provide what it required within a short time frame.
The company was already familiar with the franchise having been tasked with installing the original audio system at HRC Worli nine years ago. When another venue was later opened in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb, White Eagle Entertainment was once again enlisted to provide the sound system – this time opting for Outline. Having proved its success at HRC Andheri, the new system for HRC Worli is a faithful reproduction of that design.
‘We've worked with the JSM group since the beginning and have established a great working relationship,’ explained White Eagle Entertainment’s Arun Kalra. ‘We designed and integrated the original system at the first Worli HRC and also had the privilege of designing and integrating the audio system at the new Andheri venue, which was the first HRC to have the Outline system. The management was so pleased with the Outline system’s performance that when it was decided to upgrade the setup at the original venue in Worli, they had absolutely no doubts when opting for an all-Outline solution.’
The new system comprises four Doppia II 9075 and four DBS 18-2i subs installed at the main stage’s FOH area, plus eight Eidos 12 and two Eidos 15 loudspeakers positioned strategically across the venue to optimise coverage. An Eidos 118 sub was also installed in the venue’s VIP area to increase bottom-end fidelity.
