Outline system supports the SCTV Gema Ramadhan Roadshow

INDONESIA: Melodia recently supplied an Outline audio system for Indonesian TV channel SCTV’s Gema Ramadhan Roadshow, a musical event which toured in Sukabumi, Bekasi and Bandung in West Java. The four-day roadshow used a combination of Mantas line array systems, Subtech loudspeakers and an Outline butterfly system, installed by the Melodia rental team.
Responding to the an equipment list specified by SCTV, the main PA system comprised a total of 24 Mantas line array systems, 16 Subtech loudspeakers, a Butterfly system, and a Soundcraft Vi1 digital live sound console, which was used by FOH engineer Tony Subarkah as well as SCTV’s own sound engineer.
Melodia's Rudy Winarto described how himself and SCTV’s sound engineer were ‘surprised by the Mantas systems’ output results,’ adding that the system ‘met the coverage demands of the outdoor areas.
‘The array on each side consisted of only 12 Mantas,’ continued Mr Winarto. ‘The delivery was unbelievable, and reached a distance of approximately 100m from the main stage,’ he enthused.
