PAL takes on Beijing International Beer Festival

CHINA: A substantial PAL line array loudspeaker system was chosen to provide the sound reinforcement at the Beijing International Beer Festival, a major tourist attraction that could rival the popularity of the Munich Oktoberfest in Germany.
Held by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and supported by the Beijing Committee of Tourism Development and the Chaoyang District Government, the month-long festival was undertaken by the Beijing Xiedao Group together with Germany Schottenhamel GmbH.
64 units of PAL line array loudspeakers were selected to handle the sound reinforcement for the festival’s eight 10,000 capacity Bavarian national-style beer tents, chosen to deliver European-style music to help represent the festival’s motto of ‘music and revel’.
The Xiedao Group has invested RMB800 million in the festival, which will be held annually in future.
