PASS arrives on all platforms with new website

WORLD: The Pro Audio Social Stream (PASS) is now available on all platforms following the introduction of a web-based version of the industry-only social network. Previously only available on iOS devices such as the iPad and iPhone, PASS can now be used on any web-enabled device including Android phones and tablets, desktop PCs and Macs, via www.proaudiosocialstream.com.
The new release comes almost a year after the Pro Audio Social Stream was first launched as an app, available for free download from the Apple App Store. Thousands of users signed up globally for the social network, which is designed to connect members of the industry around the world via the sharing of thoughts, photographs, links, private messages and more. However, demand quickly arose for a version of PASS to be made available for platforms including Android and desktop PCs. That demand has now been fulfilled.
Additionally, a much-requested feature in the new version of PASS allows users to log-in to the Social Stream using their Facebook username and password. Members can also read the latest issues of Pro Audio Asia, Pro Audio Middle East and Worship AVL Asia on whichever device they choose to use.
‘Since we launched PASS we’ve been consistently asked when it would be made available across all platforms. A lot of people want to use it on Android phones and tablets, while many have also asked when they can access it on their PC or Mac in the office,’ explained Blank Canvas Publishing editorial director Barney Jameson. ‘Now you can use PASS everywhere, on any device you choose. You can even log-in with your Facebook details, making it easier than ever to use.’
