Pat McConnell joins Sound Devices as sales manager

WORLD: Sound Devices has appointed 20-year industry veteran Pat McConnell to the role of sales manager, describing him as bringing ‘a strong background in live performance, systems engineering and production’ to the manufacturer. Mr McConnell will be based at the company’s US headquarters in Reedsburg, WI.
In his new position Mr McConnell will work with the Sound Devices sales team while strengthening the manufacturer’s reseller and distributor network. He previously worked for 13 years as a manufacturer’s representative with AudioBiz Incorporated, a pro audio specialist based in the Midwest of the US. He has reportedly received multiple awards during his career including Salesperson of the Year from Shure Incorporated. Prior to joining the industry he was a professional musician and music teacher.
