PAT supplies University of Newcastle with DIS

AUSTRALIA: Professional Audio Technology Pty Ltd has announced that it delivered and commissioned a large DIS system for the University of Newcastle’s new conferencing and function centre.
The DIS system – comprising of a CU6011 central controller unit and a total of 28 DC6990P dual delegate units with touch screen controls, was installed for use for applications including council meetings, corporate seminars and university functions and lectures. The system was integrated into a video system that automatically provides video of each delegate or chair-person when they are speaking. In addition, the system provides voting, VOX activation, agenda handling as well as remote meeting administration.
‘We are very satisfied with the end result of this project and are very proud that we were able to provide DIS’s cutting edge technology to this world class venue,’ said Patrick Salloch, managing director of PAT.
