Penn Elcom and Fane announce global partnership

WORLD:Loudspeaker manufacturer Fane Acoustics and flightcase and speaker solutions specialist Penn Elcom are to grant each other access to their mutual distribution networks on a global basis. The two companies have known one another for 30 years and are both UK-based with manufacturing facilities in Asia.
The arrangement is described by the new partners as taking advantage of ‘the unique synergies’ between them, with Penn Elcom in particular having reportedly been asked to supply drivers alongside its regular product offering.
‘Integrating Fane with our sales and distribution network fills a gap, and the already excellent existing relationship and levels of mutual respect made it a logical step,’ explained Penn Elcom chairman, Roger Willems.
Arthur Barnes, chairman of Fane, added: ‘It may have taken 30 years, but it's great to be at this point where we can provide a single source solution built on quality and reputation. We are natural business partners with massive energies and a constantly forward thinking strategy.’
