PL+S Shanghai to feature more than 500 brands

CHINA: Messe Frankfurt, the organisers behind the Pro Light and Sound series of international trade fairs, has announced that more than 500 leading brands have now been confirmed as exhibitors for this year’s Pro Light and Sound Shanghai. The show, which takes place from 8th to 11th October 2014 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, will also feature a series of ‘fringe events’ that together with the variety of pro audio and lighting exhibitions are expected to attract more than 25,000 Chinese and international visitors.
Confirmed exhibitors currently include Aiweidy, Audiocenter, Avid, Behringer, Bose, Clair Bros, dBTechnologies, DiGiCo, DJ Power, Electro-Voice, Fidek, Funktion-One, Global Truss, Hi LTTE, ITC, JBL, Kaifat, Klark-Techik, KV2 Audio, LAX, Maquinas, Martin Audio, Midas, Nexo, Nightsun, Proel, Soundcraft, Soundking, Srexact, Takstar, Tonwel, Topled, Turbosound, TW Audio, Viasho, SAE Audio, Yamaha and Zsound.
Among the exhibitors, Phoenix Pro Audio will be showcasing Funktion One’s latest technology. ‘We chose to make this important announcement at Pro Light and Sound Shanghai because it is one of the industry’s most important events of the year,’ explained marketing manager Kay Ho. ‘We can present the new development to all of our existing and potential customers and let them experience our new products through live demonstrations.’
Also enthusiastic about the show is Lujin Xiao, marketing manager for JCLEON, the owner of German audio brand Audiocenter in Greater China. He believes that there is huge potential for expansion in the Greater China entertainment sectors. ‘We are very keen to expand our business in this sector and the show is the right place to be. We have even rented a larger booth to increase the exposure of our flagship product lines. At the booth, we will simulate different application environments to cater to different demands and provide visitors with the best product experiences.’
