Point Source Audio names Huahui as Chinese distributor

CHINA: Huahui Audio Technology has been appointed as the new distributor of Point Source Audio’s microphone range in China, with Point Source president James Lamb explaining that ‘the timing was right for both companies’. Mr Lamb added that ‘China represents one of our key markets globally and we had been looking for the right organisation to represent Point Source in the area’.
Founded in 2003 and boasting offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, Huahui Audio Technology provides services including consultation and design, installation, and training into market segments including broadcast, theatres and concert halls. The company is led by president Allen Xu, and was reportedly keen to add an earset microphone into its portfolio.
Mr Xu outlined his company’s strategy for the brand: ‘In China, the broadcasting industry represents the largest professional market, so that will be our initial focus for getting Point Source Audio products into the marketplace,’ he explained. ‘Following that comes touring, theatres and schools.’
Mr Lamb added: ‘We were very impressed with their professional demeanour, and the shared vision is fully complementary to our goals in the region. We anticipate a very successful relationship with Huahui and are happy to have such a quality organisation represent Point Source Audio microphones in China.’
