Pro audio and technology companies to sponsor 27th Annual Tec Awards

WORLD: The Tec Foundation for Excellence in Audio has announced that a total of 34 professional audio and technology companies are to sponsor the 27th Annual Tec Awards, which will be held at the 2012 Namm show on January 20th. Co-presented by the Tec Foundation and Namm, the awards are held in recognition of outstanding achievements in professional audio production and product innovation.
The Annual Tec Award’s FOH and platinum sponsors include Harman Professional, The Les Paul Foundation, Sennheiser and Neumann.
Gold sponsors include Avid, Shure, social media music website Broadjam, and music print publishing company and software and music technology products distributor Hal Leonard Corporation.
The event’s silver sponsors include Meyer Sound, Solid State Logic, Sony and Yamaha, whilst bronze sponsors comprise DPA Microphones, Eventide, Focusrite, Novation, Gang, Genelec, House Research Institute, Intel, and JoeCo.
Completing the list of bronze sponsors is: Line 6, Martin Audio, the Producers and Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy, PreSonus, QSC Audio, Royer Labs, Tascam, TC Electronic, Toft Audio Design, Tonelux, Universal Audio and Wave Distribution.
A highlight of the evening is scheduled to be the presentation of the Les Paul Award to musician, composer and producer Steve Vai.
