Pro Audio Asia networking tour arrives in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Following the successful Jakarta debut of Pro Connect Asia earlier this week, the networking tour from the team behind Pro Audio Asia is moving to Singapore’s Club Kyo for a second date on Thursday August 21st. Pro Connect Asia is a series of events intended to draw together leading figures in the regional industry for a free-entry informal evening of conversation and the sharing of ideas.

Pro Audio Asia’s first ever networking event took place in Jakarta on Monday August 18th, providing a laid-back atmosphere in which senior members of the Indonesian industry gathered to discuss the issues which matter most to them and their businesses. The free-to-attend event was praised for delivering a business-friendly atmosphere in a commercially neutral environment.

Pro Connect Asia is off to a great start, giving members of the regional industry a place to talk and share ideas with no agenda and without the pressure of being sold to,’ enthused Pro Audio Asia general manager Richard Lawn. ‘Now we’re looking forward to bringing the same results to Singapore. Once again, Pro Connect Asia is all about bringing members of the industry together to talk about what concerns them most, while we listen.’

Among the guests attending the inaugural event was Eric Haslim of PT Citra Intirama, who commented, ‘I’m really surprised at the turnout and I’m very happy to see my counterparts within the industry getting together, catching up and exchanging ideas. This is a very good start and something that everyone can benefit from – getting connected and exchanging information.’

Also present was Bernard Grover, general manager of the newly opened Ciputra Artpreneur theatre and art gallery complex. ‘I think this has been a stunning success,’ he declared. ‘We’ve had some of the top people in Indonesia here tonight and we’ve made a lot of connections that otherwise wouldn’t have been made. I hope we keep this up.’

Pro Connect Asia – Singapore is the latest in a series of events taking place over the coming months across South East Asia, India, Asia Pacific and beyond. Each event will be entirely free of charge to attend on an invitation basis.

Prior to the inaugural Jakarta event, Mr Lawn commented: ‘We have been proud to be considered the voice of the industry in Asia for some 12 years, and we have always taken that responsibility very seriously. Pro Connect Asia is the next step in ensuring that the global industry knows what matters most to you.’

Pro Connect Asia – Singapore will take place on Thursday August 21st between 6pm and 8.30pm at Club Kyo, Singapore. For more details contact rlawn@proaudioasia.com or follow this link to RSVP.
