Pro Audio Asia to co-host NAMM special Asian reception

WORLD: Pro Audio Asia is to co-host a special reception for members of the Asian pro audio industry at the NAMM Show, which opens its doors in Anaheim, California on Thursday January 22nd. The special reception is intended to reflect the growing importance of the Asian industry to the NAMM organisation, and will take place on Saturday January 24th between 5.30pm and 7pm at the Member’s Centre of the Anaheim Convention Centre.
The event follows the popular series of Pro Connect Asia networking nights that took place in 2014, taking in locations such as Jakarta, Singapore and Mumbai. Each Pro Connect Asia event drew together leading industry figures for a free-entry, informal evening of conversation and the sharing of ideas.
‘Our Pro Connect Asia nights were a huge success in 2014, largely because we had no agenda and we weren’t selling anything, we just wanted to listen to what the industry had to say. Our special reception at the NAMM show is based on the same idea,’ explained Barney Jameson, editor of Pro Audio Asia. ‘The Pro Connect Asia nights will return in 2015, and it all starts at NAMM. I hope that all of our friends and colleagues from Asia who are attending NAMM come along to the Member’s Centre on Saturday at 5.30pm, share a drink with us and celebrate how important Asia has become to the global industry.’
The special reception is free to attend and open to all members of the Asian professional audio industry attending the NAMM show.
