Proaktiv Systems Cambodia to represent Presonus RCF and Tascam

CAMBODIA: Phnom Penh-based distributor Proaktiv Systems (Cambodia) Pte Ltd has taken on three audio brands that it hopes will offer its growing number of dealers and end users with a full catalogue of products.
Having been in operation for almost one year, the company has been spearheaded by Singaporean managing director Jimmy Yap. ‘Since establishing operations at the Attwood Business Centre in March 2011, Proaktiv Cambodia has increasingly enjoyed repeat custom with several leading brands,’ confirmed Mr Yap. ‘I am now pleased to announce that we have been acknowledged as the sole distributor for Presonus, RCF and Tascam in Cambodia.’
Having been largely involved in the supply of products for installation projects, Mr Yap has enjoyed working with all three brands prior to this confirmation. ‘We started to talk with RCF early on, as we required a reputable manufacturer whom we could rely on in terms of supply here in Cambodia. The Italian manufacturer has a great reputation here and they provided us with a full range of appropriate products and solutions that we could offer to our customers.
‘Likewise, I have long admired Presonus as a very reliable brand, particularly in the studio recording sector. In addition, the brand is really gaining strength now in the live sound sector, which is where we are particularly active and to want to represent them.
‘Finally, Tascam produces extremely reliable and price competitive products and solutions for each market sector in our industry. Owing to the strong acceptance of the brand by industry veterans, coupled with their strong products, I felt it would complement our expansion in Cambodia thus enabling us to increase Tascam sales in the process.’
