Producer Bob Spencer opts for Eve

AUSTRALIA: Australian producer Bob Spencer has recently taken receipt of Eve Audio SC208 monitors for his home studio. Having been a member of numerous bands from as early as the age of 12, he also began work as a recording engineer and producer in 1983. The new Eve monitors have been used to help create Mr Spencer’s latest album Saints and Murderers – a crowd-funded project consisting of 11 songs.
‘The Eve SC208 active monitors are ideal for my workspace. They provide me with ample, accurate lows, smear-free mids, non-fatiguing highs and are capable of delivering much more volume than I require, which is interesting coming from a bloke who often used four quad boxes on stage,’ explained Mr Spencer. ‘They’ve have taken the guesswork out of mixing. My mixes translate well, and, just as importantly, the mixing experience has become a much more enjoyable one.’
