Que Audio promotes Jay Heaton to international sales manager

ASIA: Que Audio has promoted Jay Heaton to the role of international sales manager, where he works to secure distribution opportunities in new territories, as well as having regular contact with new and old distributors in Asia, including Australia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Mr Heaton also ensures that those distributors place regular and consistent orders, deciphers what the end-user requirements are in the global marketplace and translates that into how the company can improve its products.
Originally promoted as sales and marketing manager two years before when his predecessor retired from the audio industry, Mr Heaton now takes on the full international sales role, covering all countries and territories excluding the US and Canada.
Prior to this, Mr Heaton has worked in an abundance of managerial roles, however this was his first entrance into a sales and marketing position. ‘From that, I've learnt a great deal with regards to international business and creating new business opportunities in the global marketplace,’ said Mr Heaton.
‘My main duties are securing new distribution opportunities in territories otherwise "uncharted”, and I feel absolutely energetic with my new role,’ he enthused. ‘There is lots happening behind the scenes this year and this could translate into increased brand awareness in places where we are not currently, as well as potential for new distribution opportunities abroad.’
