Quest Engineering tours India for technical training

INDIA: Australian manufacturer Quest Engineering recently undertook a tour of India in the company of its regional distributor Sun Infonet Pvt Ltd, staging a number of technical training workshops. Quest’s Frank Andrewartha and engineer Peter Gay both attended the tour, running seminars on loudspeaker technology as well as repair and maintenance.
The manufacturer describes India as a ‘rapidly growing market’ where customer feedback is considered essential. The tour commenced with a technical service seminar at Sun Infonet’s headquarters, where Peter Gay conducted training on analogue circuits while also taking input from local technicians regarding the Indian operational environment.
Other stops included Kerala, visiting two of the manufacturer’s local distribution partners; Bangalore, which saw local service agents attend workshops; Pune and Mumbai. Following the tour both Mr Andrewartha and Mr Gay commented that the ‘growing sophistication of the Indian audio scene was evident’.
