Ram Audio appoints Harness Overseas for Indian distribution

INDIA: Ram Audio has appointed Harness Overseas Pvt Ltd as its official distributor for India, with immediate effect. General manager David Arnau and sales director Monica Royo travelled from the manufacturer’s HQ in Valencia to provide commercial and technical support to Harness Overseas during the recent PALM exhibition in Mumbai.

Harness’s director, Lalit Chopra, explained why the company had introduced Ram Audio into its portfolio. ‘The presentation of Ram at the recent Palm show was really very successful and vindicated our decision to take on the brand. Customers are familiar with Ram Audio as they have been long established, have proven to be reliable in the field and their price-performance features are second to none. We are very confident that their extensive range of touring and installation amps will soon be at the top of professional market here in India.’

Headquartered in Chandigarh, in the state of Mohali, Harness Overseas exclusively represents CSC, EVL and Ohm from its 1,850 sq-m facility, which also boasts a service centre and in-house design engineering department.

‘Since appointing Adam Hall as our sole European distributor, we have been in a position to properly focus on other geographical markets,’ added Ram Audio general manager, David Arnau. ‘India holds a great deal of potential for us and we have been analysing our options for some time, so it is with great pleasure that we have entered into this agreement with Mr Chopra and his team. We are now in the process of announcing new distribution partners in other key territories in the Asia Pacific market.’
