RCF and Hi-Tech celebrate first year in India with landmark sales

INDIA: RCF recently marked the first anniversary of its partnership with India’s Hi-Tech Audio Systems, with Hi-Tech sales director Nirdosh Aggarwal declaring that ‘in this short span of time, we have been able to sell more than 500 boxes of HDL 20-A line array’. The company’s director, Rajan Gupta, added that the distributor has also achieved the sale of more than 200 units from the V-Max series, and three full TT+ touring systems, equating to some 85 TTL 55A enclosures.

Celebrating the anniversary, RCF Asian Pacific sales manager Lars Yoshiyama described the company as ‘a wonderful addition to our RCF family. We are always keen to work with dealers and distributors who share the same passion and zeal as us.’ Hi-Tech installations using RCF enclosures to date reportedly include Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Auditorium in Meerut, Welhams Boys School in Mussorie, Infosys at Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Chandigarh, and Club HQ in the Gwalior Regency Hotel.

According to RCF executive sales director Alberto Ruozzi, the relationship has proven fruitful on both sides. ‘Hi-Tech’s breadth and depth of experience are such that as well as being a partner in RCF’s distribution network, the company has become a valuable resource for our R&D programme, contributing unique insights that allow us to meet the needs of end-users in the Indian market,’ he explained. ‘We are very proud to be represented by such a renowned and successful company in this key Asian region.’

A highlight of the partners’ first year came at May’s Palm Expo India exhibition, when a 600 sq-m area was dedicated to the Italian manufacturer, including live demonstrations. The event was followed by two days of extensive training delivered by RCF product specialist Oscar Mora, attended by selected live sound engineers and installation contractors.

Reflecting on the first year, Mr Gupta was enthusiastic. ‘Established for over 25 years, Hi-Tech Audio Systems enjoys an excellent reputation in design, technical excellence and customer support,’ he declared. ‘We are relied upon to bring the latest technologies and brands to meet the ever-growing demands of the professional audio market.
