RCF line array utilised for Womad festival

NEW ZEALAND: Theatre Lamp & Lighting Supplies Ltd provided its newly purchased RCF line array system for the recent three-day Womad festival that was held at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands in New Plymouth, Taranaki. Local company Direct Imports NZ Ltd distributed the system.

Together with the Womad engineer, the Theatre Lamp & Lighting Supplies Ltd crew deployed RCF’s NX L23-A active line array modules hung four per side, NX S15-A speakers positioned two per side, supported by two NX S21-A active subwoofers.

‘Direct Imports NZ are pleased to be associated with Michael Keat, director and manager of Theatre Lamp & Lighting Supplies, who is a long time convert of the RCF brand,’ said Direct Imports’ Greer Compston. ‘RCF’s NX range offers an excellent solution for his company, and with the new purchase, he continues to put his faith in the RCF brand.’

‘Womad features a diverse range of music types, and this system suited the festival,’ said Mr Keat. ‘There were no challenges with the project, and I was very impressed with the clarity of the system – as was the client,’ he added.
