Røde NTR wins Red Dot’s ‘Best of the Best’ Award

WORLD: Røde Microphones’ newly released NTR ribbon microphone has been awarded the Red Dot Best of the Best Award for Product Design: 2015. The winner was decided by a 38 member international jury that reviewed over 4,900 entries from 56 countries.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Red Dot Awards is one of the largest and most recognised product design competitions in the world. Winning products are evaluated based on functionality, durability, ergonomics, formal quality, ecological compatibility and degree of innovation.
‘The care taken by our jury members, who are bound by a strict Code of Honour is well known,’ explained Professor Dr Peter Zec, founder and president of Red Dot. ‘Winners of the Red Dot have shown uncompromising competency and considerable courage, and have measured themselves successfully against the best of the industry.’
