Real Music brings Adamson to Nanjing’s Club Enzo

CHINA: Real Music Acoustic & Lighting Technology Co Ltd recently designed and installed an Adamson sound reinforcement system for Club Enzo, a new 875 sq-m club located within the 1912 district in Nanjing, China.
Club Enzo is considered to be the flagship venue of the Nanjing Trendsetter Entertainment Management Co Ltd brand, and was designed and architecturally constructed with ‘high calibre’ dance music in mind.
Adamson products were chosen as an appropriate solution for the premises due to ‘their effectiveness and performance’, and were installed as a distributed system. The installation comprised 16 M212 monitors and 42 passive Point 15-P two-way enclosures hanging above the dance floors and lounge area, with at least two direct sound points on every seat in the building. Meanwhile 32 flown Point 215 subs and six strategically placed T21 subwoofers cover the low-end extension. The overall goal was to be able to ‘push the limits’ with a maximum SPL level of 130dB, all the while maintaining a ±3dB uniformity throughout the venue.
Real Music chose to pair the Adamson speakers with Camco Vortex series amplifiers and an Apex Intelli-X248 audio processor. ‘There are 24 DSP channels in three Apex Intelli-X248s, with M212s divided into two groups which take four channels,’ explained Real Music’s Wang Zhen. ‘The 42 Point 15-Ps take 12 channels and the Point 215 subs take the remaining eight.’ Real Music also ensured that the M212 and Point 15-P speakers colour-matched the aesthetics of the venue.
The upgrade also included the installation of large LED video screens around the dance floor, various LED wash and moving lights, and a telescopic dance stage. The club also received a new mixing console, digital DJ mixers and brand new microphones.
‘Now Club Enzo has the most dynamic sound in the Nanjing district,’ enthused performance director, Wu.
