Robin Ghose becomes Biamp regional SAARC manager

ASIA: Biamp Systems has appointed Robin Ghose, formerly director of sales and marketing for Pro Visual Audio, to the post of regional manager of SAARC (the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation). Mr Ghose will be based in Bangalore, India reporting to EMEA regional director Mex Exner.
A well known and long-standing member of the Indian pro audio community, Mr Ghose has worked with a variety of brands during his career. Prior to joining Pro Visual Audio he was regional sales manager for Harman India and he has also enjoyed stints with Powermatic Security Systems, EVI Audio and AMX India.
In his new role Mr Ghose will be responsible for growing the Biamp brand within the SAARC region, taking ‘an active role in developing sales and growth strategies as well as handling distribution networks across multiple countries in the SAARC region’.
Mex Exner described the appointment as ‘investing in a sales team that can support the needs of each region’, continuing: ‘Robin will be a strong addition to our global sales team because he understands the importance and art of sound technology and is committed to delivering a superior customer experience. Robin's extensive experience in the A/V industry will play a key role as we continue to strengthen our position within the SAARC market.’
