RTM Ipoh Station upgrades with Netia

MALAYSIA: Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has recently upgraded its regional station in Ipoh to Radio-Assist 8.1. RTM operates four television channels, six national radio stations, two international stations and 16 regional stations. Thirteen of these are now fully digitised due to investing in Radio-Assist software.

Netia’s Radio-Assist family of digital audio software programs have been in use at RTM for more than a decade, and the Ipoh-based station worked with Broadcast Communications International (BCI) to transition to the latest software release and begin working with its new features.

‘This upgrade to Radio-Assist 8.1 will introduce greater efficiency and productivity while requiring very little training,’ said Benjamin Schvent, Netia's APAC operations manager. ‘Radio-Assist's ease of use and performance will support even the most complex operations and streamline RTM's workflow for multiplatform media delivery.’

‘We enjoy a long and successful relationship with RTM, and we're pleased to see the broadcaster taking advantage of the new enhancements in Radio-Assist 8.1,’ commented Colin Tan at BCI. ‘With more functionality than ever available from its familiar user interface, Radio-Assist 8.1 makes it easier for radio stations and groups to meet the demands of today's media consumers.’
