RTW appoints director of business development to grow Asia Pacific profile

ASIA: German audio metering specialist RTW has appointed Amanda Zhang as its new director of business development, stating that the former Citibank consultant will be specifically tasked with growing the company’s presence in the Asia Pacific. Ms Zhang has described her new role as ‘an honour’.
Based in RTW’s Beijing office, Ms Zhang reportedly boasts a strong background in information management and information systems. The manufacturer is expecting her experience to help it build on its recent success in the Asia Pacific region, in which it claims to have developed ‘a tremendous customer base over the last few years.’ During her time at Citibank, Ms Zhang was in charge of senior sales.
‘We are very happy to have Amanda Zhang join our team,’ commented Mahmoud Chatah, director of sales and marketing for RTW. ‘With her expertise and solid sales experience, we are confident she will help RTW develop and improve its business with both new and existing customers in Asia.’
Ms Zhang added: ‘Loudness control is a very serious issue today, especially in the broadcasting and video areas, and RTW is leading the way by providing quality solutions around the world. As the director of business development, my goal is to carry forward RTW’s innovative technology and ideas into the Asian market.’
