Sahu Sound invests in Dynatech line array

INDIA: Rajnandgaon-based sound rental company, Sahu Sound, has recently invested in line array equipment from Taiwanese manufacturer, Dynatech. Sold through the manufacturer’s distributor in the region Sonotone, and supplied by its dealer, Mr Nadir of Chhatisgarh Radios, the company purchased eight DEL-123LA line array enclosures which will be supplied with power from Dynatech CS-8001 and MP-5000 amplifiers. Sonotone now also reports that the DEL-123LA has become the best-selling line array in its portfolio.
‘We were amazed by the throw of the DEL-123LA on the first show itself,’ enthused Mr Sahu, owner of Sahu Sound. ‘We have heard a number of single 12-inch line arrays but all would lose throw beyond 15m. The unique long horn used for the high frequency and the phase plug on the 12-inch woofer is what I believe makes the DEL-123LA so efficient and natural sounding.’
