Saigon Beer celebrates 2016 with Amate

VIETNAM: Amate Audio saw in the arrival of 2016 in the company of Saigon Beer, when Danang hosted the Saigon Beer Countdown Party using Amate’s Xcellence series line arrays for sound reinforcement.
With a host of local and international artists taking to the stage to entertain the crowd, the event took place in 29th March Square for the fourth consecutive year. The technical expectations for the show were high, with 3D projection mapping covering the stage and a large front of house system comprised entirely of Amate enclosures.
At the heart of the system were 60 of the Spanish manufacturer’s X210 flagship line array enclosures, flown in a left-right configuration at either side of the stage. Low frequencies were supplemented via a combination of 28 X218W3K subwoofers, delivering 3,000W each, plus 12 of the recently launched X21T subs. In addition, X12CE monitors and X208 line array enclosures were deployed on the main stage, alongside JK318A 3-way full-range systems and JK18WA subwoofers, from the company’s Joker Series.
